Primal Fate
I was inspired to write a meerkat after
watching Meerkat
Manor on Animal Planet. I found their personalities so engaging and
started
badgering Patrick about writing a meerkat shifter, one who was totally
annoyed
by shifting to such a small animal. When we conceived Kristian, a
meerkat
seemed to be his perfect partner. Talk about opposites attracting!
Animal Attraction
Both of us travel quite a bit for business. One trip in particular was quite a nightmare.
Picture it: Thanksgiving weekend, the family flying home after a short
break.
We’re faced with crowds, cranky children, broken-down planes, hot and
airless
concourses, and a five hour wait in the airport. Thank
goodness we had books to read! This
situation was what we both envisioned when writing Animal Attraction.
This
airport fantasy remains just that, but every time we travel, it plays
out in
our minds.
